SUMMER CAMPS ARE HERE!
💥 The “Choose Your Own Adventure” Setup
The absolute best thing about MR Sports is their Multiple Option Format. The day is split into 3 main blocks, and the kids aren’t forced to stick to just one thing. They get to pick a “club” for Session 1, and if they want to switch to something completely different for Session 2, they can!
Every single day, they can mix and match between:
- ⚽ Football Club: For the soccer-obsessed kids looking to practice drills and play matches.
- 🤸 Gymnastics & Multisport: High-energy games, dodgeball, obstacles, and active movement.
- 💃 Dance & Drama: For the creative performers who love finding their rhythm and acting.
- 🎨 Arts, Crafts & LEGO: Perfect for when they want to wind down, build things, and get creative.
🕒 The Daily Schedule & Wrap-Around Care
They make life incredibly flexible for working parents. You don’t have to worry about the “3:00 PM scramble” because they offer extended hours.
- 🍳 Breakfast Club: 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM (Optional add-on for just £4/day)
- ⏰ Main Camp: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Early pick-ups allowed up until 2:30 PM)
- 🌆 Late Pick-Up: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (or 6:00 PM depending on the exact venue) run via their excellent sister childcare service, Ruby Roos.
💰 Price & Who Can Join
- Age Range: All kids aged 4 to 13 are welcome! (As long as 4-year-olds are officially enrolled to start P1 this September). You also don’t have to go to the specific host school to attend—it’s open to everyone in the community.
- Inclusivity: They offer dedicated “Active and Able” inclusive camps with staff highly trained in Autism Awareness, Makaton, and Disability Sport.
- The Cost: It is incredible value, starting from just £17.00 per day or around £80.00 for the full week. Plus, if you are sending siblings, a 5% multi-child discount is automatically applied at checkout! Promise We shall return them with tired legs and brains.
🎒 What to Pack: A refillable water bottle, a morning snack, a packed lunch (strictly nut-free!), clothes they can run around in, a rain jacket (it is Belfast, after all), and sun cream just in case the sun decides to make an appearance. Leave the iPads and tablets at home—this is a 100% screen-free zone!
With over 15 venues operating across Belfast and Northern Ireland this year, there’s almost certainly a camp right on your doorstep. Summer Camps are the way to go!
