It’s a big jump from the classroom to the sports hall, and it’s totally normal for those “butterflies” to do a few backflips in their tummies.
Here is a fun, lighthearted poem to share with the kids (or post on your blog) to help them feel like the superstars they are:
The Magic in Your Trainers
Your trainers are laced and your bag is all packed, But your tummy feels funny—and that is a fact! The whistle might blow and the hall might be loud, And you’re thinking, “I’ll just hide away in the crowd.”
But wait! Look around at the hoop and the ball, The coaches are ready, and they’ve been through it all. They don’t need a pro or a world-champion star, They just want to meet the amazing you are!
If you miss the first catch, or you trip on your feet, That’s just how you learn to be sturdy and fleet. Every “oops” is a step, every “clumsy” is cool, It’s the Power of Trying—the camp’s golden rule.
You’ll make a new friend while you’re chasing a pass, Or painting a masterpiece during your class. Those butterflies fluttering? They’re actually wings, Getting you ready for wonderful things!
So take a big breath, let out a loud cheer, There’s a team full of friends who are glad that you’re here. Just one little step and you’ll start to see, The bravest of players is who you get to be!
Why choose MR Sports this Easter? Because we believe that every child has a ‘superpower’ waiting to be discovered. Our camps are more than just a way to stay active; they are a safe space for kids to ignite their confidence and build friendships that last long after the final whistle.
With our unique 3-session daily choice, your child isn’t forced into a ‘one size fits all’ schedule. Whether they want to score goals on the pitch, master a gymnastics routine, or get creative with arts and crafts, the choice is theirs. We provide the professional coaching and the ‘digital reset’ they need, giving you peace of mind and giving them an unforgettable holiday experience
