Hangout Hub: After School Club.

WE HAVE A SISTER

Ruby Roos is our registered childcare company which works alongside our MR Sports team to deliver a later pick up service after our structured after school clubs.

Our childcare team can work independently from 2-6pm or in conjunction with our MR Sports clubs as a later add on service.

Our childcare team offer children the chance to have a fun childcare service located within their school and has been proven to increase P1 intake in the schools we operate as we can offer a more affordable childcare service that ensures children have time to complete their homework, have a healthy snack and develop with their peers within an environment they are familiar with.

We are proud to offer an all in one service and aim to overdeliver in all areas of our services as we understand the importance of your school ethos and that we are a greater representation of the schools we work.

AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS

MR Sports provide a wide range of after schools clubs which can be adapted to each school’s requirements based on facilities and timetabling.

All coaches are Access NI checked, child protection certified and qualified in the club they will be taking. Coaches can take up to 20 children per class, however we can cater for larger numbers should demand require and space permit.

MR Sports offer a “1 stop shop” when it comes to after schools clubs, as we aim to offer the whole after school programme at your school and coordinate it all to take away this additional workload from teachers. Our hangout Hub is awesome!!!

We aim to speak to children in assembly about the clubs we offer, email a PDF leaflet of the clubs being offered and take bookings directly from parents. We coordinate everything, taking all administrative work away from schools by which we generate registers for clubs and email them to schools prior to the start of sessions. We prefer to take on the sole coordinating role at your school but we can fit in with your school’s existing system if required.

Payment for clubs can be sourced exclusively from the school’s extra curricular budget or partially depending on your requirements. We also offer a system by which we can charge parents and collect fees for clubs should budget restraints prevent clubs from operating otherwise.

More Than Just a Club: It’s an Adventure!

An after-school club isn’t just about staying busy; it’s about turning the end of the school day into an exciting journey. Here are some of the best parts:

  • Friendship Unlocked: It’s a fantastic way for kids to make new friends who share their interests. It’s much easier to bond over building a robot, painting a masterpiece, or learning a new game than it is just sitting in a classroom.
  • Skill Supercharging: Kids get to explore cool new hobbies, from coding and robotics to art and drama. They’re not just learning; they’re mastering a skill in a fun, pressure-free environment.
  • Creative Freedom: After-school clubs are the perfect place for kids to get creative and think outside the box. They can take on projects that are all their own, which builds confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
  • A “Power Up” for the Mind: These clubs help kids wind down from the school day in a productive way. It’s a great opportunity for them to engage their minds in a new way, which helps them stay sharp and avoid burnout.
